Teachers and students of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cuenca and professionals involved in this center UCLM are enveloped in the preparation of “Nobody´s rose”, a film that would be recorded in August and September next year and will be the first full-length film shot entirely in Cuenca.
Ignacio Oliva, professor of Film Studies at the Faculty, is the writer and director of this film. He explained that the film is an "urban story" which recounts the descent into hell of a young bourgeois. A film with doses of black cinema and a final thriller with a character coral, with a gallery of secondary characters.
At the moment they are looking for locations, which would focus on the new side instead of the Old Town and the new areas of Cuenca "fit better with the script." However, the interiors also have a very important role.
The film has a budget much more terse than in other films of the current Spanish cinema and its distribution will have both professional actors (Ana Otero, for example) and new promises, Cuenca youth aged 15 to 20 years. These are being selected in a casting as last meeting held on 21st of December at 19.00 hours on set of the Faculty. "
